Diplomathon Global / Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Diplomathon is organized and managed by Apogeeoh Education Private Limited, a company registered in India.

1.2 References to “us” means Apogeeoh Education Private Limited, and references to “we” and “our” shall be construed accordingly. Reference to “you” entity means the school & student who has completed a booking request & is a participant in the conference, and references to “your” shall be construed accordingly.

1.3 All applications to register for the conference, and all orders to purchase the relevant documentation pack, are made subject to these Terms & Conditions (which shall apply to the exclusion of any terms imposed by you).

1.4 You acknowledge and accept that we have the right to publicly announce our relationship with you, which shall include but not be limited to announcements on the days of the conference & ceremonies if any. Such announcements shall not be disparaging or otherwise adverse to your business.

2. Bookings

2.1 All applications to register for the conference are subject to availability and require full payment.

2.2 Delegate / Diplomat passes issued for use at the conference are valid for the named attendee only and cannot be transferred, except as outlined in clause 4.2. Photographic ID may be required during the conference, and failure to provide matching identification may result in denial of entry.

3. Prices and Payment

3.1 Prices for attending the conference and purchasing the accommodation pack are set out and available upon request or from our Official Facebook Page and are subject to change.

3.2 Payment must be made in full before the conference date. If applying less than two (2) weeks before the conference, payment by Bank Transfer is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.4 Failure to make payment according to Clause 3 may result in interest on overdue balances.

4. Changes to the Conference and Cancellations

4.1 We reserve the right to alter the advertised content, timing, and/or location of the conference or speakers for reasons beyond our control. Notice will be provided for any such changes.

4.2 Substitute delegates may attend at no extra cost with at least 10 days prior notice and full payment.

4.3 No refunds will be given for cancellations or non-attendance.

4.4 We shall not be liable for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred due to cancellation or relocation of the conference beyond our control.

5. Content

5.1 All rights in conference presentations, documentation, and materials (“Content”) are owned by the respective rights holders. Unauthorized use or dissemination of the Content is prohibited.

5.2 The Content may not reflect our views or opinions and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

5.3 We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party-supplied Content and exclude liability for any inaccuracies or omissions.

5.4 We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to online Content at any time.

6. Liability

6.1 Our aggregate liability to you for any damages arising from conference attendance is limited to the price paid for your booking.

6.2 We shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.

6.3 You agree to indemnify us against any loss arising from your actions during the conference.

6.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability for personal injury, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. General

7.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and supersede all prior agreements.

7.2 You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statements not expressly set out herein.

7.3 Communication may be electronic, and you agree to electronic communication methods.

7.4 Rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions are not transferable.

7.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.

7.6 Diplomathon does not have financial obligations towards participating institutions.

8. Code of Conduct

8.1 Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the symposium.

8.2 Any behavior deemed disruptive, offensive, or harassing by event organizers may result in immediate expulsion from the symposium without refund.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

9.1 All intellectual property rights in relation to the symposium, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, and content, are owned by Apogeeoh Education Private Limited or respective rights holders.

9.2 Attendees shall not reproduce, distribute, or use any symposium materials or intellectual property without prior written consent.

10. Photography and Filming

10.1 Photography, filming, or recording of symposium sessions or materials is strictly prohibited without prior authorization from event organizers.

10.2 Event organizers may arrange for official photography or filming during the symposium for promotional purposes. Attendees who do not wish to be included should inform event staff.

11. Data Protection

11.1 By registering for the symposium, attendees consent to the collection and processing of personal data for event management purposes.

11.2 Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Apogeeoh Education Private Limited’s privacy policy.

12. Force Majeure

12.1 Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms & Conditions due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government restrictions, or labor disputes.

13. Severability

13.1 If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Waiver

14.1 Failure by event organizers to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other rights.
